Yes I name my girls too, I have two Solaris Rods Sally and Lara. Sally has been with me about 9 Months and Lara about 3.
After much deliberating I went out today and purchased a second Axeon 90 reel to go on Lara. Sally already has one, I was thinking of getting Lara a Tika or maybe splashing out and getting a Shimano Bait Runner, but decided she hadnt really earnt that yet. Lara is a bit shorter than Sally, by about 1ft, not sure if that makes much difference in getting the distance, but Sally has by far out fished Lara so far. You never know, maybe with the new reel she will pick things up. Am looking forward to the new season, rolling up to the beach with a girl in each hand, spending nights together under the stars, hopefully catching a fish or two. Next investment....A tent.
