I like a man with a bit of confidence...
Trouble is confidence doesn't pay the "weigh" bill.
Popular opinion has it that for the last 5or6 years the snapper seasons have been slow to fire... and I tend to agree.
Here's some "modern" thinking...
Maybe it's time we just re-wrote the official big spring snapper season.. perhaps we should say it starts about mid-September and drop the idea of August... that way anything we get before Sept can be qualified as early arrivals?
Sounds better than having to say the snapper are late again this year.
Normally the kontiki boys snatch a few bigguns about two or three weeks before the surfcasters have their turn.But even they aren't getting as much return as we'd expect.
