Hi CharlieBought some at the local chemists two days ago. Three dollars for three, these are the govt subsidised swap hypo's the mainliners use. You also get three nice alcohol wipes. Great for if you put a hook prick in your finger. They are are just the right size. I now carry a small bottle of bonito oil and a hypo in my tackle box. Inject on the beach, sounds ugly I know. But my take is that if the oil is injected , it leachs out slowly, as oppossed to soaking. And as you do it before the cast well gotta level the odds a little more in my favour. A nice little burley slick exuding from my bait.
Gonna try the chicken hearts as soon as the sea down here settles, they will hold lots of oil.
