    Hello from the Eastern Bay,
Just looked at the map and your right it does look a bit shabby.
However the met service has been known to get it wrong 89% of the time here.
We are very lucky in the bay as if the beaches are unfishable then we have one of the best if not the best Harbours in the country.
Telling you that the weather will hold up is like putting my head in a guillotine and sneezing while holding the release cord.
If you are hardy souls as all kiwis aspire to then you will be able to rough it out in any weather condition.
If push comes to shove then the bay of plenty fishers will come to your aid I am sure and will put you up until the weather clears.
Weather here at the moment is overcast and warm and has been on and off all week with drizzle.
Cherry tree in full blossom and the snaps are on the beaches.
We have good pubs and restaurants and a variety of shops to keep she who must be obeyed happy.
Take it from me i know every lady shop in town as i have been dragged into every one of them sometimes on more than one occassion.
    Hope this helps
    Cheers Ray
