A friend of mine was going through some old boxes belonging to her deceased father and came across 20 cardboard folder pages filled with various newspaper clippings on fishing from the early to late 60's, mainly Hawkes bay but there are a few items from other areas. Thought I'd offer them before chucking them out... could be some nostalgia for some old timers here Let me know if you want them
Some examples Swordfish washed up at Westshore (page next to it was a 270lb stingray at flatrock taken by a spear fisherman)
Elephant fish, Westshore again
122 fish, mainly snapper at Awatoto (Wellington Snapper bottom story)
