The only area where the Led lenser cames out on top is its focusing system (and weight, but that does not matter for fishing). Fenix HP-11 has 277 Lumens of brightness Fenix HP-20 has 230 Lumens of brightness LL H7 has 170 Lumens LL H14 has 210 Lumens The main difference between the HP-11 and HP-20 is the standard of waterproofing. HP-20 has IPX-8 standard (submerged to 2m) while HP-11 has IPX6 standard (protected against Powerful water jets). Which standard of waterproof is more useful for surf casting is a bit debatable. Getting hit by a wave would make IPX-6 more useful, dropping your headlamp in a Rock pool makes IPX-8 more useful.
