    Fished new reel on CD last night, no extra mags, set on 8 and 6oz lead. Handled sweet

    Fished at main beach by the green light. Planted my rod stand and right there on the sand was a juicy tuatua. Looked around for another half hour of so and picked up about 30 or so.

    Right on dusk baited up the tuatua and sent out didn't even get back to my stand when I felt a fish pull the line, nice start with the new reel, landed a small but nice to see snapper. Quick unhook and put him back. Caught a couple more 28 & 30cm let them go as well and dropped 3 bigger hits during the night. Put out 1 pilly bait and caught an eel.

    Great fun and rapted to be fishing my regular rig again
