how does this place usually fish?i quickly drove up to snells beach north of auckland from the naki lastnite to buy a car.got there and the car about 9.30pm of corse had my rod in the back,so when the miss drove off i thought id cruz out to omaha.didnt know what the tides were doing or where to fish ,just rolled up to a random acsess which happend to have this long but low breakwall thing.it was pannies and smaller the whole 2 and half hours i was there.the last bait i put a big one on to try for something bigger,then i saw my glow stick fold right over then spring back,snapped off!.drivin back 6 the next morning was exausted but happy,even got a quick fish at awakino on the way home.is it always productive there or did i just strike lucky with the times.really nice beach(well in the moonlight anyway) |
