I looked into it a few days ago and ended up speaking with one of the founders on the phone for a while. They have a lot of really good ideas, but without support its difficult to present a solid front. Take a look at www.legasea.co.nz if you guys are interested in getting behind them. You Gissy guys might be especially interested to know that our misinformed fisheries minister has recently reduced the legal take size for commercial cray harvest and increased the tonnage in your area (CRA3). That means they can now take more, and smaller crays than recreational fishers can legally take. Its this kind of thing that Legasea are trying to improve on.
