    Hi, hbfisher both combos are good at that sort of money , makes it a hard choice . Both rods are both about the same weight and have a similar action. The reels have different features the AFB90 is a bait feeder type and the Crosscast has a long cast spool which will give you better distance.
    I would probably go with the Daiwa combo.
