Bloody hell Stacey. I ain't no great Teacher. That belongs to none other than the Guru of Surf Casting aka GK or some guy called Kemsley, or is it Kemsly. He can be a bit sly at times I believe. Once you have spotted one hole, your view of a beach will change, you will start to see all sorts of things. Off shore guts. Parallel beach channels. Ect. Like I said, the beach is like a book, once you open the first page.Knowledge starts to flow. A beach is forever changing, one day a hole. Next day gone. Some holes last for weeks or even months. Others are a several day wonder. It has been my experience that it is not rough sea's and swells that make holes, guts etc. In fact they tend to destroy them. It is a moderate sea with an off shore current, that does the trick. Thanks to all, for the thanks. On this thread And thanks to those that have added a hole or two. Knowledge is wasted kept to oneself, but shared, we may all learn from it. I await your find with great expectations Stacey. Well done girl aka Fisherperson. One day you will be the great Teacher and us others will be in the Old Persons home. Drat. Cheers Trev aka Hardy
