    Just thought of something, maybe it only recognises the password and usernames from the 'new forum' rather then this one.

    No body uses the new forum

    I have the same username/PW for both, so can not test my theory

    edit: went to the effort to make a new account just to test my theory, when I loaded chat I read the instructions which said to use the 'article/new' forum login details
