    The Naki crew meet up last night for a fish, after the boys driving around in circles for awhile we managed to finally catch up (new spot) the sea was perfect little swell cold wind.

    We each set up and cast out Nek Minit Naki's rod is just about heading for the horizon grab it quick and play what I thought was a monster of a fish for a good 5 min up and down the beach in and out from shore to have Panser give me a hand and pull in a huge chunk of weed after a bit of shite thrown and a bit of a laugh the other rod did the same, each of us caught weed and lost gear.
    Me being stubborn I moved down the beach and found a clear patch while the others decided to look elsewhere and head back to town, I carried on and managed to go through 3 bait changes without incident, to then have both rods fold over at the same time, if only someone was there to see it unfold:
    Naki getting dragged down the beach a good 100m by two rods still with line pealing out and massive bends, at one stage I contemplated letting one goas I had just re-spooled both reels with 30lb line and had the drags up tight I was not in a good position, braking one free by shear luck gave me the chance to regroup threw one rod in the sand as i got dragged past the Ute still holding on as this is my good rod, when will it stop??? Next thing a massive swell comes in nearly wipes me out and dumps my weed fish on the beach crying, cursing and kicking sand back up the beach to my bag i was foolish enough for some more punishment re-set my line cast out and had a lesser treatment after this my arms were screaming, I packed up and returned home lesson learnt
