After fishing in Wellington nothing is too hard to fish in. If its windy, find a slightly sheltered bay. If its raining put on wet weather gear. It really depends how bad you wanna be out there.
Last 2 times we've been out its been windy with gusts up to 35knots. There is usually somewhere to find where you can peg it back to 15 or 20 to make it somewhat more pleasant.
Is it really that bad down there? We've had so much rain the past few weeks. Seems to be a few bronzies around too. Found out someone feeds them off Mangonui wharf. Kinda cool, but you end up with this kind of carry on....(image stolen from Stu's facebook page)
