Hi Pete, the next casting day will the 14th of October at Papamoa . We will post the details next week after I have seen Jock after the executive meeting this weekend. It should be a bit warmer for you Paul . Do you think some of the other guys from up your way will come down.

I think that comp may have been caned due to a spilt up of the papamoa club.

All on when I spoke to Jock on Friday and Bruce had booked the park and someone else brings some nice weather or a least a good tail wind it will be all good.
This is also a timely reminder to the clubs around Tauranga and non club members that these days are for you.
These days are not just for gun casters they are also intended to be coaching days as well.
So please come along.

I am not sure but I believe the play soccer there on Saturday will check it out . This is the venue for the 2014 casting all going well.

Yes aii go,format still to be worked ,all ideas will be taken into account.The more the better.Post as many as you all think the casting has to be built by all in the sport of casting and fishing.Or please contact me .

how about two weights only perhaps the 100 gram and 125 gram or 150 and 175. 6 casts on each of the two weights under strict competition conditions.all casting the same weight same round. any casting after that to be for fun and some coaching only.other two weights to be cast at the next regional casting day.just my thoughts
