what is the format for the 14 oct,or is it same as last event 6 casts any lead?

trying to change my backswing phill,not doing that well ,the lead drives hard into the ground at about 6 oclock.be nice to know what leads etc for the next round.cheers all

Thats normally going to hard/fast during the turn.

I do that a fair bit as well.

Jock,

Bethells Angling & Casting club are having a casting day at the Kumeu Showgrounds, Sat 29th September. Rego 8.30am-9.30am. $5 entry.

Also, some of our clubbies expressed an interest incasting and adding a casting day to our calendar at our meeting last night. Who do I talk to at the NZACA about doing this and what we need to organise?

I have just been talking to a large tackle supplier about darkside reals, things are looking good for the future.

I have just come back from having a few casts with darkside reel put it on a rerung Solaris with Fuji Lowriders which makes it cross dresser.
Anyway Karen didn't bring her camera because I didn't tell her what I was up to. She wasn't happy with me because she thought with the reel I was using I was going to get the birdie from hell.
But I didn't the rod casts well and reel didn't behave like a grumpy teenager .
It makes a change when a plan comes together.

Hi Snappyboy, Hey we are doing ok really. we have taken a harsh stand against bad behavour and beleave me some of these pricks up here are real assholes and as a result have had a big drop in turnover but we are still paying our bills and know when the community see its a much safer place they will drink here.Our locals have loved the changes we have made.
We are now sponsors of the Snapper Bonanza now and can't wait for that to come around.We most likely will be at the snapper 1000 as well, it's a great comp, so hopefully will see most of you there.

lets hope the weather plays it's part hey.

I'm not very brave so I had the blocks in as I hadn't cast that reel before but I have just taken them out . I will go and have a cast if the rain stops . If I get it sorted I will have fish with it at the Snapper 1000 , during the day anyway.

Good to see you doing well , just hanging in there is an achievement these days . Good on you for taking a strong stand with bad behavior , it will short turn pain but a long term gain for both you and your community.
