slipper island

any one land based fished off slipper island coro?need to have a stag for my wedding but i dont drink or do drugs so thought i might just go out there for a fish off for a day with some mates instead, seems it just off the coast of where im getting married,"tairua".

Sounds like a great idea! I have caught plenty of snapper from the boat casting in to the rocks around the island.

The snapper don't know where the car park is!
Sometimes it is better to travel than to arrive.

Oops sorry just reread your post, they may be a little far north. Good outfit from what I've heard tho. I have a charter booked with them over Xmas, taking the South Island whanu out to catch something other than blue cod

reckon if i find a boat there it wouldnt be to hard to find a good spot to fish judging by google earth
