Hi I travelled past on a Bus with 30 Kids in the morning and past again in the evening and it was looking very good for fishing. Has anyone had any luck there abouts. I know it must be getting close.

Wont be long now for the rod fishers. The longlines are catching a few snapper already but they are out in boat country over a kilometre out. Soon as you see some small boats fishing in close there it is worth having a go. That is only if you want snapper. If kahawai are ok get there now as there are plenty coming and going along the beach from Tangoio to Westshore.The snapper don't know where the car park is! Sometimes it is better to travel than to arrive.
