My first horse....

I am off on holiday this week, so fishing high tide at East Clive had a nice ring to it.
It was my first cast, with the bait being in the water for only 10 minutes - then the rod bent over, line pulled out, and there was no doubt there was a massive fish on the other end.
After a good tussle, I had an 11.78kg fish on the beach, and a huge smile on my face.

I was targeting kahawai, so I was using a pulley rig, with a float on the trace and a pillie for bait.
