anyone had any luck surfcasting with soft bait or plastics, If so what have you had luck with?

Gulp crabs have worked for me on kahawai, moki,gurnard, trevally and snapper. Just fished like bait on a ledger rig does the business.

The snapper don't know where the car park is!
Sometimes it is better to travel than to arrive.
