Gidday guys,
New to the site, looking for some tips on good spots around Auckland to fish. My Kilwell 222fxl just arrived and keen to get out this weekend.

I have fished past beachlands and Maraitai I think its called, theres some good rocks to fish off along that coastal road set good burley and they will turn up when the tide pushes. Snaps and the odd king.

I would suggest getting one of the ferries to Waiheke Island, find some place to stay for say the weekend as there are dozens of places you can land base fish for,snapper,Kahawai ,dory and of course his majesty Mr Kingie from the shore.Just a thought .
