Hey Naki heres some data for you. Fishing at Waihua Beach yesterday Sue and I caught 14 lemonfish. We started fishing about 1pm. High tide was at 4pm. We had nothing for an hour then around 2pm we had multiple strikes for half an hour.Then nothing again for an hour. Five more in five casts then they were gone. We caught no more till after the high tide. At about 5pm we again had multiple strikes till the weed came in and drove us home. Results.....14 landed to about three kilos and about ten other hit and misses. None were over a metre long unfortunately as it was a field weekend for Pania Club and that is the minimum size.The snapper don't know where the car park is! Sometimes it is better to travel than to arrive.
