Offshore HB

Hey guys,
Sorry I know this is a surfcasting forum...
Can any HB locals tell me if there are any Albacore out in the bay at the moment from The Springs to Lauchlan or if any Marlin have been weighed so far this season?

Heaps of albies and there were 4 marlin caught during the coruba and a couple during the nats.

No excuses, just get out there!!

AYE! 4 caught during the coruba??? I'm sure there was only one landed and weighed bro.....

Andy, the ones during the nats where also taken off the dogleg, out off table cape.

There is a few albies around, but not for long before the numbers decimate. There where several marlin spotted, hooked during a competition here on the 16th. Best a luck

Cheers guys. Towing the boat down for Easter and will head out wide for a look.
It has been a pretty unreal season on the the Auckland West Coast. A summer that many game fisherman up this way will never forget.
Have not caught a Marlin off HB and its a box I would like to tick.
