There has been a lot written about the workings of the NZACA, their shortcomings and lack of information. Over the last couple of days I have shared some long, in depth, private correspondence with Yoey, and he has listened attentively and put me to rights on a few matters of concern.
There can be little doubt that Youy is dedicated to the association, this could almost be described as a passion. He has answered everything I questioned, he did so openly and honestly, at times admitting there were still occasional issues that need to be addressed.
I have confidence that with people such as he working for the benefit of all anglers, our representation of all matters regarding our chosen sport are in excellent hands.
If my comments have ruffled a few feathers, this was not my intention, it was to get concerns out in the open, to this extent I believe the many posts over three or four threads, by several concerned anglers have achieved much.
My special thanks go to Yoey, your work is appreciated and the most important part being something we both fully agree on, is the matter of communication: this is either the making or breaking of matters arising.

You are also in trouble, I am still waiting to hear about those cases for the Veritas rods.

As a fellow Executive Committee member, I can assure you that Yoey is a very committed member of the NZACA. We have gone through recent committee changes which we are all very dedicated to and I am sure that over time the membership will see some great changes. Let the good times roll !!

Hangler , all good things take time. Karen's only been waiting ten years for me finish the kitchen . I will put your request on the top of my list of things to do on Monday.

My late wife once wanted me to make a change to the kitchen: she wanted me to cook in it. Sadly, since she passed away, I no longer have an option.
