Been here a week or so & thought I should add some thing if only a few pics ,not just here to glean info.Results of a couple of more memorable sessions not to long ago.Hope this is within the rules.

Gidday widegap good to see you on here mate will PM you later to let you know where I am hoping to head friday evening if I can get over will probably be where we were the other week when we caught up for a fish.

School shark 7 /9 close to 100lb could only just carry it, 2 previous I couldn't lift of the sand, snapper on sand 18/9(8lb) ,fish on fillet bench was ANZAC weekend.

Yea fin-nor back up the coast your best bet ,weed down Bowentown is bad again & killed the bite pretty much .Northern end might be worth a look dude.

Yeah have been thinking about which end to go to this time might have to give the north end another try to see how it goes.

Should be a few Kahawai round the creek with the whitebait running now,the odd kingi lurking too.

Wish i had a whitebait net havent had a feed of those tasty little buggers for a long time oh well always next year to try for some. I also chnged those traces around that I was using too the skirted ones and non skirted ones are now wearing two hooks 6/0 circle with 4/0 & 5/0 mutsu hooks as keepers (skirted traces have keepers tied in place so no matter where the fish hit those lure skirts they are going to get a hook in the gob) especially after that bloody big hit I had just before you arrived the other week

Bowentown was fishing well on the weekend. Father-n-law got 5 snapper between 7 and 7.30am Saturday morning and 3 Sunday morning half n hour later. All around the 1.5 kilo mark.

that is pretty good going grant I have given up on bowentown at present till that sea lettuce goes away and have been giving whiritoa a bit of a go if this rain clears for friday night I will be heading off to have an early evening fish if it does that wind just needs to stay westerly.
