Urenui

Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone could offer any advice for casting around Urenui? I'm staying there in early Feb for a few days and was thinking there must be some good fishing up there.

Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Wai-iti, Epiha rd, White cliffs, all are good low tide sandy beaches.
Waitara rivermouth also fishes well that time of the year if the water is clear.

Heading up to Urenui tomorrow, won't have much internet/phone signal as I'm not on Telecom and nothing else seems to work well in the Naki. I will probably try Epiha Rd low tide Thu or Fri afternoon (or both) at this stage.

Have you guys been having much joy lately? Weather is looking pretty good for my time up there

Weather is spot on. Vodafone works fine coverage average around epiha though. The low is going to be big fishing should be awesome.
