My fish of the weekend

This was the only sizeaable fish I caught over the weekend but I have to say that it is one worth waiting for.
Kahawai 3.20kgs caught at Porangahau Beach HB.

The snapper don't know where the car park is!
Sometimes it is better to travel than to arrive.

My fish of the weekend are being smoked at the butchers, two fat trevs 2.9 and 2.4kg. Had a coupla mates fish past me they caught 8 nice fat trevs on light change saturday night. The tuna birds were feeding close to shore, plenty of activity and then the snapper followed into darkness. Was a very pleasant evening fish. Interludes of solid Kahawai and fat lemons too. Good to see the fish coming in throughout the bay
