A very merry christmas to all my friends on the sand. Could anyone give me a couple of knots suitable for joining two lengths of 100lb mono. I thought of back to back uni's? Grandson wants me to make him a long line he can send out from the beach. Holding a rod is "boring"

Crimping would be a better bet.

Crimp and join like lnks in a chain. I double crimp while using a thin tubing. Its a no fail long lasting join rather than a cruddy old knot.
