Hey all anyone fished this beach in Central hawkes bay? How close can you park to the beach??

You could drive on last time I was there.The snapper don't know where the car park is! Sometimes it is better to travel than to arrive.

You can drive onto the beach through the track which is at the bottom of the road. It is pretty easy to drive on. This beach is nice when flat but very weedy most of the time, depends a bit on the tide though. You can drive down to the southern end by the rocks which apparently is less weedy. I have yet to try that end to find out.
