Beach trolley

I was wondering if anyone has made a beach trolley or has any ideas about making one. I would like to make up one to haul my chilly bin and a few other bits and pieces on on beaches that dont allow vehicle access or where my Rav 4 will get stuck. I have seen one made up out of an old golf trundler. Just want to find a more efficient way of keeping my catch and bait chilled than in a bucket with a few chilly packs in my pack and carrying a chilly bin seems nuts

Even if you don't want to buy one then it certainly gives you a few clues on how you might build one. Dunno where you'd get the tyres though?

you can buy the tyres but they aren't cheap. Paul's Fishing kites also have a good trolley but are out of stock until September! Might go and visit my engineer nephew. I do like the idea of a collapsible trolley for transportation though.

Try Adapting a trolley from Supercheap auto most of them have pneumatic wheels ?

I ended up by scoring a heavy duty golf trundler with big solid wheels, no punctures, second hand. Takes my chilly bin with plenty of room for rods, beach spikes etc. trying it out this weekend.

I made a trolley for my Kontiki stuff.Built a ply box sack burrow ,added another pair of wheels.Winch sits on top ,baited trace rack inside with batteries etc.Has detachable handle & fits in back of wagon & dog can't get at baited hooks. Its also a handy seat, smoko bench while waiting to haul tiki back.
