Trouts OK but no silver bullet. The roe is excellent burley, particularly for trevally for some reason. I used to catch and keep and coloured up jacks when I was in Taupo for a mate in the far north. He used them as skip baits for makos and marlin and said he did very well with them. Worth a try! The snapper don't know where the car park is! Sometimes it is better to travel than to arrive.
