Going through some stock in the shop and I found a couple of cool reels I didn't know I had. I thought they were a couple of empty boxes, just as well that I checked them before I threw the boxes out. They are Abu Garcia Cardinal 57LC long cast surf reels. Gear ratio: 4.8:1 with a line capacity of 0.35/300 and 6 bearings. This reel has the quick lockup and release spool lever which means that you don,t have to adjust your drag setting when casting. We are offering this reel with a RRP $239.00 for $199.00 while stocks last. I wonder what else I can find stashed away.

Cool reel, quite like them apart from my one which has a few issues. Would recommend.

I sent it back after trying to spool it twice. It came back worse...And with another small problem that took a bit of time to figure out. It works most of the time. Its my go to reel and I like the smaller size and good weight.

My one spooled up with no problems. If you are not happy with the way it's working take it back and get it sorted.
