Heading out to bach at lake ferry this weekend. Weather and sea are shaping up to be a boomer. I have a large supply of paddle crab to nail some spotty sharks and should be an abundance of fat winter reddies. If anyone wants to join me let me know. Will post the brag pics later.

Pretty rough wind and swell...
Went to Tora and broke my rod during my 5th cast. No other rods were able to cast past the breakers so I had to go home again. Only got one cod and a paddle crab.

Wow you were brave doing Tora ! South Coast was total rubbish, lots of crap in the water, 30k onshore winds, rough sea. Hope your rod was not one of those new veritas LOL. i fish a couple of okuma solaris with Tica bait runners, .38 mainline and 40lb shock. With the look of this week forecast it will be a waiting game for some good weather. i have had some great catches at Tora, definately a good spot.
