Best Baits.

If you had one bait to use surfcasting what would it be?
My choice........crayfish.

The snapper don't know where the car park is!
Sometimes it is better to travel than to arrive.

Paddle crab (only COs i eat the cray) 2nd choice is a prawn and mussel coctail. The snapper love em.

Trevalley have caught more fish on that than any other bait.

I can't use mussels cray or tuatua pipi because I like eating them more than fish, so it will have to be bonito pilly etc.

All bait has its place and time but for sheer efishency anchovies rigged well on good hooks is my go to bait.

I find baby salmon works well.

I forgot about baby salmon , had good results at Santoft with it.
