I am trying to update my knowledge of rods for long distance casting and am aware of the Powerplay 222 and the new Veritas. What else is available?

Hi ron, CD's XD Surf it's good rugged rod in 13'and 14'. The 222 is an ok rod but twice the price of both the Veritas and XD Surf it a 2 peace with a long top section. The 222s other issue is the variation in action . .
