Bit misleading having 4000 cash isn't it?. Anyway NEW Surfcasting comp friday and sat waitangi weekend HB watch this space……….

Agree Snappa a bit misleading on the face of it,before stuff is posted all pertinent information should be gathered, but hey, what is this New surfcasting comp on Waitangi weekend what, when, where, I hope you will keep us all abreast of this comp as info comes to hand for you, I am assuming it is in your locale, it could be a good prelude before heading up to the Mighty 90. I would be very keen to give it a crack and possibly catch up and introduce myself.

Looks like $1000 heaviest Kahawai, $1000 heaviest snapper and cash prizes as well for Gurnard and non scale as well as junior prizes.
I will get Quintin to check it out tomorrow.

Really sad that some people resort to rubbishing another competition just to make their own un-advertised comp look a little better...I guess some people just operate like that...Misleading???? or advertising...must mention they have just announced $1000 for the heaviest gurnard aswell...So thats' $1000 heaviest snapper, $1000 heaviest Kahawai, and now $1000 heaviest Gurdnard...Good on the Wairoa Club!!!

Wairoa Club, Penn Surfcasting Competition is on Sunday 8th Feb at Wairoa rivermouth. Whakamahi Beach. New Prize pool with $1000 heaviest Snapper, $1000 heaviest Kahawai, $1000 heaviest Gurnard. Also over $1000 worth of prizes.

This is now the biggest Comp in Hawkes Bay, be part of it.

Loyal Whaler NOT RUBBISHING WAIROA COMP AT ALL AND NOT MY OWN COMP EITHER. Get that right! It was misleading on the competitions page. FACT

Sorry it wasn't meant to be misleading. The cash plus prizes for the whole tournament is closer to 5k. It did say MORE DETAILs TO FOLLOW . But nevermind hope you have every success with the new comp:-) it could work out pretty well having the new comp on Friday and Saturday with the Wairoa comp being Sunday!!! Three days of competition fishing:-)

Yeah for shaw Whaler. 3 day long weekend of fishing. Lets hope the weather plays the part eh.
