Mates weekend?

Could any Pania club member explain this mates weekend. Is it just 2 fishos as a team? Ta.

Idea is that you find a mate who is not a club member and the pair of you participate in the feild weekend together. You just have to turn up to the weigh in with said mate in tow to prove you had a mate and he has to weigh his catch in.
Whatever your mate catches goes on your points total along with your own catch, so essentially you get extra points for promoting the club. Great if you have a mate who likes fishing.

It was a great fish Chris. So was Fringsy's epic catch as well. Ttwo good solid Kingies to make us all envious.

Get into them Rex, they're around at the moment and if I can catch two in one weekend anyone can lol.
You don't need to send the livey out far either. Right in the trough behind the first wave worked for me

That is exactly where I floated my live bait for 3 hours yesterday, only about 500 metres up from you. And not even a sniff. Still the kahawai weren't around yesterday moring either. I only got two (juveniles) and a small Trev.
