So a few months back I found an okuma solaris at cash converters for $40, in my excitement I didn't notice all the electrical tape that had been superglued to the middle section of the rod, On giving it a clean up and a new guide I found a sizeable crack/split under the tape where the top section goes into it. I tried it out the other week anyway....... and the top section is now somewhere in the waitamata harbour No questions here, just a story about being too hasty with a "good deal" Here Fishy Fishy
