Good reports from BOP. So thats where our escapee snapper went.

The snapper don't know where the car park is!

The water is slowly warming up. It's taken ages but with a bit more northwesterlies to bring in the warmth, we should be up to full speed in a fortnight...

HB poachers have had a wee sample of the improving fishing already.

Best to have them poaching your beaches Geno, curtainly dont want them coming up north for a poach lol. Here how good it is up here Geno. these fish where caught by 2 people over a 2 day period. basically from sunset friday to 5am saturday.

I wander what the comments on this site would be if that catch was taken on a torpedo?

I envision screams of raping the fishery ... limit your kill don't kill your limit etc.

Thanks hangler and you are right about what people would think lol. I do know that the 2 fishers concerned only kept 1 fish each and the rest where donated to needy people in the far north community

Yeah, nice haul Frosty. I'm just waiting for our water temps to get up to what you guys have up there, then we'll see some nice fish comin ashore in the good ol BoP mate.
I need an excuse to take my new Bear down the beach.
