They are back on the Wairarapa east coast again. Out with their bloody set nets catching moki, trying to give them away to any one camping and straight back into it the next night and the night after that. There ain't too many folk that like the taste of moki but two of these groups carn't stop themselves chucking the net out night after night and wasting fish. Its nothing to do with fishing or "hunting and gathering", its snout in the trough piggery.
Bugger set nets. They have no place in the inshore fishery.

I know how you feel Iranians have been setting ther nets across Clive river near Tuckers night after night catching flounders and grey mullet we in Whakatu and Kohupatiki marae have been trying tolet the flounders breed up again. They court over 40 flounders one night so I rang fisheries there net and inflatable boat got taken and a 700$ fine they have been seen on Farndon road corner to so if anyone sees cars parked on Fardon road corner before the train bridge ring the fisheries its taken 9 years of not netting river for the flounders and mullet to return to the river may be one day the sea run trout mite come back one day so my Grandson can catch one one day like his Grandfather used to when I was his age
