ig swells expected on the west coast over the weekend.

The snapper don't know where the car park is!

Just had word swell's also coming up in the BoP right now. At 12 o'clock today I saw pancakes on the Whakatane coastguard cam and Surf2surf Papamoa cam, now I'm told just a minute or so ago the water's no good already. Ah well, vehicle maintenance time chaps.

3 to 5m around Taranaki. Napiers still flat just before dark.

Bit of swell but certainly not unfishable, no weed or drift, 6 snapper at Hauone nothing big 4 between 36 to 40cm and couple of smaller fish returned.
Come dark and the bite completely turned off which was a surprise over the high tide.
