Bay tidies up.

After the hell weather and heavy runoff we have suffered the sea has bounced back incredibly well.
North of Napier the water has cleaned up and the swell has dropped. I would not be surprised to hear of a few decent datches this weekend.

The snapper don't know where the car park is!
Sometimes it is better to travel than to arrive.

Now is the time to go for a big snapper, good moon next week end but in Turangi myself. TRC to learn on Sunday.

Just ask Herb Spangaal hell show you how. Its really just an extended roll cast and easy to master. Works best with specialised lines. Airflo 40 Plus is OK or Teeny T lines.

That's what I will be at. Have the RIO new Steelhead line lined up for it. God might even buy a Sage rod as well (the 99 model). Typical tackle tart!

Might have a look at Mohaka later in the week if the weather stays good. Thin out the spiney pupulation while waiting for a moocher
