Who sells brake blocks for abu reels

Just wondering where I can buy a new set of brake blocks for the casting brake on my seven sprint it takes the abu 7000 blocks

Is it the fibre or plastic (white) clip on blocks you need?

It currently has the original black brake blocks on it so that may be the fibre ones part number is 19788 on the schematics sheet

Reality is most brake blocks will work the later style white clip in clip out though are a different system and have a different break block mount.
I have daiwa plastic brake blocks in my Shimanos and they are well settled!

That is what I would rather do Phill not into buying from ebay are you able to source these brake blocks that match the part number I posted for me at all. Failing that I will consider just upgrading the reel to another overhead but would like to try and get the replacement brake blocks as a cheaper option first.

have made them from cotton bud tubeing,just cut to length you want ok for abu 65 and 55.dont know about 7000

The brake blocks in my reel are the flat rectangular ones not the round ones

If blocks from older 7000 will fit I will have a couple I could spare. I'm away at the moment can look when I get home- about a week. Or consider fitting a magnet brake easy to adjust when fishing.

I am going to put the reel on trade me and buy a new reel with a magnetic casting brake. The reel is old and it is getting harder to get new parts so time to upgrade it to either a penn squall 15 or okuma cortez 5.
