Lettuce again.

Seems a bit early. Tried to fish at Pikowai BOP today, a bit rough, decent swell, but the weed and lettuce. Lost gear, stretched line, cut fingers, came home. Have others come across it further east.

YEP! I was at Pak 'n Save Papamoa yesterday and there was heaps of lettuce there also ...

Im just north of Waihi, i know they get the lettuce and weed at Bowentown but luckily it never seems to make it up here.

That's because there is a southerly ocean flow down the eastern side of the north island.

That must be when Pak'n Save have it cheap. Mussels are 2.99 this week!.
