My 1st snapper for the year

Caught good size pan snapper while targeting gurnard in the Wanganui river on the 1st platform was a surprise as and hour before only red cod were being caught .

Had another good early morning fish with the Squal 15 and a 70 gram coffin spinner.

Threw a lot of big Kahawai back and kept the smaller ones - I think they taste way better.

I had to keep this larger Kahawai as it got nailed by something big .
