Anyone tried rubber crabs?? Not the sort that may infest ones nether regions I'm referring to the Berkely/Mr. Twister type "soft bait" crabs. I have caught spotty dogfish and of course spiney's on them but not consistently. Just wondering if anyone else had tried them when the real thing could not be obtained???Men and fish are alike. They both get into trouble when they open their mouths.

Hi Pete. I have had good success with Gulp crabs and have caught moki, trevally, snapper, a gurnard and kahawai on them. I have just used them on a ledger rig. The snapper don't know where the car park is! Sometimes it is better to travel than to arrive.
