At long last time out and time to settle my fishing program for the summer. I like to fish competitively and have had a decent result over the years. So I started off with the local club weekends, annual contest and a few nearby contests. The summer was filling fast. Some contests I would hate to miss, like the annual Wanganui Comp held at South Beach each year. Yep it fitted nicely into my growing program. Now I needed some fillers. I went to the competition pages at TT and there was only 1 contest entered and that was still in the formation stages. I booked it as it was sensibly timed for autumn in the Bay of Plenty. Where are all the other contests? If Clubs want attendance it is best they tell us whats on.My club didnt have their annual Kahawai Contest up yet, I will mention that to them. My diary is pretty full for the summer but I have room for more if only they would advertise them. The Tackle Tactics competition page has to be the best spot to fill your comps!The snapper don't know where the car park is! Sometimes it is better to travel than to arrive.
Gary, I have to admit a bit of defeat here. I cannot seem to get the Register/List of Surfcasting Comps to load up on this site. They do appear but all over the place and cannot be followed. However. Sept Snapper 1000 Invitation event at Thornton Oct TOSC in Taranaki Nov Moki 1000 At Ngawi Nov Great Exhibition Bay Comp GE Bay I have nothing for December and further comps to follow.
