New to this post board and have read quite a few posts which has been really handy - hence the reason to join this forum.
Been out a few times in these areas (day/night) but haven't had any snapper luck to date surfcasting from these two spots. Small Kahawai yes...but targeting snapper.
Reading older posts and talking to others - Rogers Road seems to one of the go to areas, so I'll definitely take a look there.
Am heading to Bowentown for a session tonight. A friend has recommended that area and also showed his pictures of his catch. Very impressed so I thought I'd take him up on his offer and we'll see how it goes. If I can get what he caught then I'm sure the wife will be happy .
