You can also search Archive.org for some really old messages going back to 2001 but titles only. I don't know why they didn't save the actual messages. Still, interesting to see the names. It was before I posted there. And before you posted there, it seems.
Oh wait, no I did post. There's a message here about my fan site returning. Mossopp and Hazel replied. I remember Mossopp. She was a Scottish lesbian. Don't remember any Hazel.
Anyway, I don't know what happened to the old site. Maybe it wasn't Hatfield who took it down. There are loads of dead links on his site so it's likely that he long stopped caring about the site. Even his email address is long dead.
Maybe Boardhost deleted it. The only thing I can think of is that picture of a topless Brazilian woman. But could that even be considered pornography in today's world? And is Boardhost monitoring the site?
Another thing I thought is maybe Simon H complained about that message I wrote. But I totally anonymised him. I didn't link to the site or give his name or anything. Plus, would that even be a violation? All I said is that he's married and his Twitter is boring.
Anyway, I'm happy that the board is back. There's just something catharic about writing on this particular forum. Maybe it's the soothing hue. And all you have to remember is the "5" in the URL. It's not like anyone went to thisisyesterday.com and then used the messageboard link.
The non-judgemental, moderator-free nature of the forum is also great. I mean, I took three poos today. One at 1.00 am early morning, one at maybe 9.30 am, and one in the afternoon. Progressively worse diarrhea. I think it was from the kebab I had yesterday. Where else can I write about this? I can't think of any other forum where you can write about such trivial stuff without being mocked and/or "modded".
