I think I'm on firmer legal footing here. I have control of the account and there were no shenanigans. I suspect that he deleted the account or it was deleted due to an inactive email address or something. I mean, he hasn't updated that site in ages. Loads of dead links. He's still apparently paying for the URL, though, so I don't know.
